hi , can any1 recommend any cheap but decent hotels in patong (near bangla road) cheers

That's a useful website. I would never have known about it if someone had just used the search function and not posted a new thread. Oops, old ground, point proved.
I can recommend Casa Jip - 5 mins stroll from Bangla, 400 a night with haggling and, as I've just learned from that website, GF. A bargain. The best thing about it was the absolute lack of any noise whatsoever. Is it always this noisy in low season? Whole buildings just disappear over night, to be replaced by a crack team of Burmese builders, banging and drilling from dawn til dusk. Casa Jip Guesthouse is located in the heart of Patong Beach Thailand, close to all kinds of entertainment centers, shopping areas and a few steps from the beach.

am having trouble booking 4 rooms for 28/12/07 until 01/01/08 and again on the 03/01/08 for another couple of days everywhere seems to be booked am hoping to stay near bangla road or near christins any1 no any good places must be gf cheers
