hotel for VERY budget traveller...
hello there...please help me,
I'm lookin' for hotel <1000B per night in Nov 07 (peak season).
I'll be staying for 3 nights. 24-27
Girl friendly I hope...

I know Max Guest House offering 700B/night, has anyone experienced this hotel?
Patong area only..

Actually, what's the difference between a hotel and a guesthouse? Is there something specific that sets one apart from the other?

I had a look at their website, strange, they say 600 baht in high season but (400-) 800 in low season?

Anyway, cheap. I guess those 9 rooms are filled quickly.

Doubt whether it is possible to get something I would stay in during Peak season......over Xmas/NY under bht1K

even Ferb is bht1.4K.......

anything under bht1k would be very ordinary to say the least
