Last month went via Qatar Airways - was ~GBP 515 R/T, including HKT-BKK-HKT legs on TG. (No difference for Thai or farang).
Thai Airways used to discount Thai nationals traveling from the UK but I believe they have scrapped this now.

That tends to be more myth than reality these days - it's not much different if at all.

Looking at bucket shop ads today and they ranged from 23000 to 30000 baht, that was in their advert of course the price might be higher when actually telephoning to ask.
Thais and Farang same price for airfares from BKK.

Kuwait 22,500

Turkish airlines 24,500
However - it states quite clearly at the top "Fares do NOT include tax, insurance, fuel surcharges and security"
Once you add on the "extras" and then do the calculations with the (decreasing) exchange rate, it turns out not be so cheap. Plus, you have to state which dates etc and you can almost guarantee that the dates required are not the cheapest.
Remember - it only needs 1 seat on 1 date to be available at 22,500baht for them to be able to advertise it.

One note that I am only minimally skilled in making. A few months ago I was shopping for a ticket for my Thai friend from Europe to Thailand. Using Skymiles I was limited to 3 carriers and the best connection was with Korean Air, however, a transit required a visa even if she would not leave the transit area. So be aware that some great deals may be out of the question due to visa requirements. Make sure to do a check before booking.
