Air Asia to Don Mueang Or Subvarnabhumi

Due to a possible change of plans, we may go to Phuket in stead of Hua Hin.

Anyway, I am now trying to get my domestic flight schedule together.

Think I will fly As follows:
From Don Mueang to Phuket with Nokair.
Phuket to Don Mueang wit Air Asia at about 9.00 in the morning and then continue from
Don Mueang to Udon Thani with Nok Air at 12.30 hr.

Questions:
Does Air Asia fly from Phuket to Don Mueang? I can't find this on their website or maybe overlooked it.

What would be an alternative for the Air Asia flight?
For me Nok Air is just fine, I used them a few times and all went smooth each flight.

Thanks for your advice.

Thai Learner, after reading your post I decided to retrace my last trip.

I am wrong in my earlier post.

My last trip from HKT to Don Muang....was with 1-2 GO.

My apologies too all.

Well Done TL.
I deleted my post too BTW

Thank you everybody.

To go from Don Mueang to Phuket, we will take Nok Air. No Problem.

From Phuket to BKK, we need to fly to Don Mueang and arrive there not later than about 11.00 am to catch our fllight with Nok Air to Udon Thani at 12.30 hr.

So I guess, I will book us the 8.50 flight with 1-2 Go which arrives at Don Mueang arround 10.15 am. Then we have enough time even when the 1-2Gos has a bit of delay.

Dawsey, What are your experiences with 1-2Go??

Once again. Thanks a lot for your advice.

Thanks Erik1. For the upcoming trip, I will be in the Udon area most probably between Oct.1 and Oct.6.

My GF lives not very far from Ban Chiang Heritage Center. Which area are you?

I haven't used 1-2 Go before Nanook. Only LCC I have used is Air Asia from Suvarnbhumi to HKT return.
If time isn't of the essence, they are OK, but I prefer the certainty of Bangkok Air or Thai TBH.

will be more in the Khon Kaen Area but also be part of the time in the Udon area

depending on the situation I will either go in the first 3 weeks of october (if so lets have a dinner in UT) or half way november till begining of december

Ban Chiang is nice though i felt the actual site is a bit disappointing. The pottery village was more fun

Like i said if you need a good reliable car rental in udon just let me know

Before we go to Phuket, we stay a few days in BKK. That's why I use NokAir to go to Phuket. NokAir is just fine. No problem.

But the return flight from NokAir to Don Mueang does not match nicely with the NokAir 12.30 flight to Udon. So I will book 1-2go, which arrives in Don Mueang at 10.15 am. Then I have time ebnough to even deal with a delay.

Again thanks for help everybody. What a great forum we have here.
