3 months is enough time to find a short stay apartment or pay over the odds for a short let home.. Tho Nov for 3 months is the peak and when house rentors know they are in full control..
I know of a really nice 2 bed home with TV (think cable) and wifi for IIRC 25.. Quality furnishing etc. But I really doubt he would take a 3 month tennant for nov / dec / jan for less than 40 or so and its not worth that. Thats just a regular (but nice) 2 bed terrace house. If your talking 'villa' around Patong then the price really does rise VERY fast.
When you think you can get a nice clean room with maid service and a pool for 9k ish per month its hard to see the value for someone who isnt so resident to move up to the villa market.
