Room with WiFi in Patong?
Been looking around but can't really find any good hotels with Wifi in Patong. Best so far is Banthai but that is not really my type of hotel. Also had a look at Club Bamboo, but can't figure out if it is dial up connection, think it is.
Any suggestions?
thanks

I stayed in Orchid residence about a month and a half ago. They had wifi in the rooms although we had quite a few problems with it. Summer Breeze is next door and their wireless always came up when i searched for available networks, so i'm guessing it's fairly consistant there. Also Yorkshire Inn has a decent setup.

aye, a lot of them will let you hardwire though if you ask. My friend had to do that as the wireless just wasn't working with laptop. Worse case scenario, most of the internet cafe's will let you connect through them if you take down a laptop.

Orchid Residence still have BIG problems with the wifi, works maybe 40%-60% of the time during a day... Shame, because it's a very nice hotel.

Yeah i found that too. Had no complaints at all with the place itself, i'd gladly stay there again if i didn't need the net for work purposes. Definately a shame.

On a forum like this it would only work if they elivered the goods.
To their credit they do, and then some.
