Travel insurance recommendations?

Taking account that any insurance provision is only as good as the agreement of your last claim and that not everyone submits a claim on their policy

Just wondering if there is any use in a thread to sit alongside recommended hotels, ticketing agencies etc for good or possibly more useful bad travel insurance providers?

Thoughts on a potential list of good and/or bad companies welcome

I've never had a claim so no help there.

I used egg annual cover for around 3 years for £70 a year.

This year I tried moneysupermarket.com put in various details of what I wanted, 30days, worldwide etc and got an annual cover for £45.

They search all the insurance company's and give you various prices and cover.

As mars said try Cheap flights & hotels | car hire | package holidays - TravelSupermarket UK paid £45 approx for a worldwide policy up to 30 days one trip £50 excess underwritten by axa.

Just have a good luck around and read the policy wording before you buy.
