C & N Hotel 600bt?

Last year C&N was 500bt. When I asked for rates for this June (low season) they quoted 600bt/day. Are other members still getting the 500bt rate?

Cool

Just there and had 600 Baht/Night though this was only for four nights - If I had stayed longer I ma sure I could have got the rate down to 500 Baht/Night which I think Irish Jonny is getting...

Just booked C&N for someone 10 minutes ago staying 11 nights, 600 baht per night, did not push price, not for me to do, I was just doing a favour for someone. Not bad! current price for PS hotel 20 metres along road; same 600 baht per night, my mates stay there regular

Hi ETV,

How much did you pay last time at Xmas?

December is my worst month for my online hotel booking service, not because nobody is booking but because most hotels are full and have no rooms available. If you plan to arrive in Christmas make sure you are booking early.

Due to the above reason, I wonder if they will give any discount because they are likely to be fully booked anyway.

I honestly don't know why C&N hotel is so popular

It's a old hotel not great but girl friendly, which is good.

You can stay at this hotel called Stoney Monday which is slightly farther down the road from Bangla that has bigger newer rooms with DVD and robes for 500bt a night or maybe cheaper if you negociate. Some rooms have nice mountian views. It's a new hotel so not many people know about it and it's girl friendly with no charge. Pool table and bar in lobby. It's website is stoneymonday.com, email is stoneymonday@westnet.com.au. The owner is Rell and tell him Robert told you about his hotel and he can arrange a good rate for long stay.

Cheers!

If we can get a list of all members who arrive in Crimbo then maybe we can negotiate with some hotels for some discount, as a group. Just an idea.

I also like
Baan Ton Sai, 1100 baht in Peak season. End of Nanai road, close to the road to Karon intersection.
Baifern Mansion, around 1000 baht. Close to Sainamyen/Rat-u-thit intersection.
Valhalla, price?? Very close to Bangla.

The prices is from last December, I dont know for the coming season. But maybe worth checking around.

Xmas fun

Hi Eric,

We work to live, not live to work. Your boss (like most of them) sounds like an utter twat. Xmas and new year is 'the main event'. Doesnt he know your plums will be at breaking point by then?

I would book my holidays regardless and dont tell him. If he gives you the time off closer to xmas, then you dont need to pack your job in. If he still insists on you working, then tell him to ram it. Look for a job in the new year.

This xmas I want a minimum of 3 weeks, probably 4. If my boss doesnt like it, he can ram it also.

At xmas we will sit on the beach together Eric, jobless, like 2 hobos, drinking thai whiskey and wondering where we can get the money for another drink and a shag

As your previous post said you booked a flight with hotel and the joiners fee was 1000baht night. i did the same a couple of trips ago. the flight was the same but you got a few night hotel for free but the joiners fee was 1000baht a night . lucky it was only three night then me and my mate moved hotels.
never again on a package deal . the hotel was the horizon in patong if any one wants to know, just in case.

I stay at the lamai inn and i paid 700 baht in april for 17 night and after meeting mike and the rest of the crew and talking about christmas & new year i ask the hotel the price for christmas before i left. well it's a lot cheaper then what C & N charging. the receptionist is really nice and she said ask about 800 - 900 baht a night.
