Stayed there my last 3 tours, but not any more. They just converted the last of the fan rooms to A/C. Which wouldn't be so bad, except in their A/C rooms, the windows are sealed shut, non-opening windows. So the only way you can get any fresh air is to open the door. Definitely not for me.

Also there is no free wifi reception in the downstairs rooms(you might be able to get it upstairs), only the pay by the minute pricey wifi. But you can go over to Faulty's and get it there after 2 PM.

Too bad, I really liked the pool, and the restaurant is not half bad, very convenient when you want to have brunch in bed with your girl. Altho if you're up, you may as well go next door to Faulty's. Free internet and nothing beats a Faulty Burger, when you've got that craving for farang food.

Yep, I'll be in Patong 13 Dec to 30 Dec, was thinking about booking room at Expat, but min 1990 baht a night in peak season is to much for me.

So instead I will try Valhalla next door, 12-1300 baht a night for AC room, not sure about WiFi but I will use a lot of my time in Faulty anyway

Anyway I normally prefer fan room when I'm in LOS, AC just make you sick.

Theres wifi in the front fooms / bar area at VH.. I dont think it reaches down to the rooms out the back.. If in room wifi is important drop them an email and let them reserve a room where you will get signal (and also bar noise)..

This would stop me staying in any hotel, non opening windows in a room, in a fire you would have no chance!

Don't think breaking glass in a hotel higher than a couple of stories is gonna be a big issue anyway- where ya gonna jump?
