Had a good laugh seeing these these two price boards 10metres from each other this afternoon.

When I was taking the photo, the owner of the 400baht one came out and he laughed when I suggested his board might read "398" tomorrow.

I'll put my money on the place with 399b getting more enquiries.
It's all psychological....people see the 3 as a lesser number opposed to the 4.

You won't see any cars on my lot, e.g with evened out round numbers like $9.000
The sticker price will be $8,990 (I know that's an even number.....but ya know what I mean?)

It's good to see healthy competition happening over there.

With the 400 baht one you should clearly insist on a higher standard of accommodation and service. You are paying more after all.

So if a BG has just said she'll come with you for 1000 baht and the one next to her says she'll go for 999, the 999 girl is going to get more business!!

Oh man..that would be a pain...can you imagine all the small notes you would have to carry.

It would be like walking around with a phone book in your back pocket

Hardly a fair comparison..... its not like BG's walk around with bill boards around their neck saying "999B a fcuk"
