Hotels in Feb offering Low Season Prices

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone knows of a hotel in Patong offering Low season rates in Mid-late February???? I would like the room to come with decent sized safe to store my Mac so I can write my TR. I also need it quite close to the beach, within walking distance to Patong Merlin Hotel.

The only one I can think of is C&N Resort where I stayed before but it is just too far out of town.

I will be staying for 2-3 weeks so hoping for a rather decent priced room but comfy.

Your help is appreciated!

Not so easy to find low season prices in high season, March is however the most quiet time in high season so you may get a better deal.

My parents got a good deal at Poppa after two visits there for coming mid Feb, 1250 baht compared to 1700-1800 normal price. I think they stay there in November aswell but I dont know the rate for that time.

If they were doing this, I'd assume that there is something wrong with the hotel.

Try Ferb guesthouse Sars.....they drop their rates at the start of February...usualy about 1000-1200 bht around then for a good sized room with all you require....

Just near Banzaan markets....about 5 mins from soi san sabai/Bangla and another 5 mins to the beach.....it's just nicely out of idiot range.....also BB's pool at the top of SSS can be used for about BHT100 per day....

Bernt the owner is a friend of Nicke' and it is in the sticky thread if you want to read more

it's well away from the Merlin though....as are most things

In Pattaya the Areca Lodge starts Low Season February 1st!!!!!!!

This is why I asked the question mate.....

Although Latestays.com is good, I am not one to leave things to the last minute! I like to get everything sorted a few months in advance!

Thanks for the reminder regarding the Areca's price drop on 1st Feb. I remember trying to get in there last Feb. and they were booked up until April. 1050 baht a night for such a hotel with 2 pools in Feb in LOS is a good deal. I assume it is still GF.

I agree you cannot leave things to last minute regarding Patong in high season.

The difference in high and low season between Patong and Patts is quite different (Patong being more noticeable), so I doubt you'll get low season prices in Feb. in Patong. I seem to remember some hotel prices in Patong having a peak season from mid Dec to mid Jan and then a high season either side of this and then a low season for the remaining 6 months.

This is what I am finding. C&N Resort gives an excellent rate in February around 1100 Baht for a very nice room, GF, pool etc.. just a bit too far out of town for me.
