OMG i cant find anywhere to stay

I 'was' planning to goto Phuket 19th Dec - 1st Jan. but everywhere I've checked so far is booked out and I think i'm going to /wrists.

Can anyone make any suggestions, have mates in the Hotel game, know of any vacancies around Patong?

Thanks in advance.

Peak season is going to be a REAL struggle at this time of year.. You need to work on the not online type guest house places.. even those will have its repeat customers if they have been in business..

Try online booking websites, they usually have some left, probably outside Patong.

My friend just managed to get a hotel in Patong on the days you are travelling also.

I booked about this time last year for about the same time as your going this year. As our lord LIL says: you are going to have to cheek out the smaller hotels and guesthouses around PAtong, or look outside at the less popular locations.

Ask if they have a vacency for the first few days you arrive, then at least you have somewhere to stay while you can spend time looking for somewhere more permament.

Check out the phuket-dir for the smaller hotels and guesthouses, although you may have to phone them as alot of the websites listed are not working any more.

If not just try to sleep under the bar at MTB. Ask Nicke to keep a sleeping bag in the cupboard for you. HAve a wash on the beach and take a crap in a beach side restaraunt. You only have to saty awake every night till gone 4am, before you go to bed!

I stayed last year for while at "THe GReen MAnsion" which I booked late, before finding somewhere else. Its listed on here somewhere, so search for it!

Yep ok thanks. I'm currently calling all the GF hotels listed on the sticky heh. No luck so far. Thx.

Green Mansion phone numbers are either not answering or the wrong number. I sent them an email that bounced also. So I've sent them an email through their website form.

How about Thai Oriental inn? It is ok for a few days but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer period (I just stayed a month as I couldn't be arsed to move!). Staff very friendly and no-probs with guests, if you need that. Clean and a good location near to most of Patong highlights (as well as low!!)

All credit goes to Floppy, he put me onto a winner with StoneyMonday hotel. I'm booked in, flights are done. Everything sorted. Might have to check out MTB then and say G'day to ya's when I get there!

I think i have seen this hotel before. Quite a walk to Bangla, but no worries. It's at a quiet area.

This is a great little hotel.
You'll have a nice stay here Radox, I always stay here when i'm in Patong, the staff are great and the rooms are spotless. Happy hour from 6pm - 7pm.
I'll probably see you there as i'll be in Patong around then.
Floppy hope to see you at Xmas also.
