Hi Ally......
In England, when booking online flights using both www.ebookers.com and www.cheapflights.co.uk ,the tickets are sent direct to your address under registered mail.If you book too far ahead.....like now for Xmas, you may have to wait a while for your tickets to arrive.Dont worry, the airline often doesn't issue the tickets so far ahead. You will get a booking reference no which you should print out and ring them if you have any problems. Its safe.Use a search engine like Google and type in cheap air tickets and plenty of online flight outlets will be displayed
Good Luck

Check the Thai website, I thought they were etickets, so you just rock on up at BKK and checkin. Don't forget about visas for Oz.

Yeah it's safe secure connection, with Air Asia you book online and print out the confirmation with booking number and just take the printout to the check in and they give you a boarding pass in May it was 1400 bht return BKK - PHKT incl. taxes.
Doesn't get any better!

You are right in thinking that Emirates is a good airline tho'
Ally
You do not need a visa for Thailand if your passport is a British one.I don't know about the Republic though

Ireland is on the list for visa on arrival, so Irish passport holders can get a 30 day tourist visa on arrival at the airport.
As for Australia, you will need a visa.

I always get a VISA on arrival and am Australian...
The last time I rang the Thai Embassy in Singapore they said that Australians can get a VISA on arrival...
Are you sure about this SteveM, Is it new (As in the last few weeks)???

Maybe not too clear, I meant being on an Irish passport he'll need a visa to enter Australia. Thailand is still visa on arrival for Oz passport holders.
