Hotel Options

Greetings

Will be arriving in Patong on the 30th for a weeks stay which unfortunately coincides with the intro of peak season hotel rates. Wanna place 15 minutes walk max from Bangla,pool,no joiner fee, around 1000 baht. Have dug out these possibilities and would appreciate comments or other recomendations;

Andatel
Nanai Villa - Looks good but cant find any reviews at all

I don't have any experience with these hotels. If people don't have any info for you, I would try searching the forum(if you have not already) or maybe some sites like "trip adviser" may have some of these places reviewed(?). Also if any of these are offered on Asiarooms.com they may have reviews there. You probably already explored these options,but just trying to help anyways. Good luck and have fun on your trip!

stayed there a couple of years ago, great value at 9oo baht currently on latestays. However 25 inute walk to Bangla is about what it takes. No familiarity with any of the other hotels. Leelawadee- large quality rooms, pool, wireless at least in the public areas, no joiner fees.

On the 1st of November their "latestays" price goes up to 1500, and their regular price to 1900 and that is for their cheapest rooms.

Stayed there myself last time I was in town and have managed to get it for 1130 baht / night so will run with that I think - better the devil you know !

Where did you get the 1130 rate for Leeladee at? Direct or through which website?

I've found it very useful however they do focus on family based hotels.

Try Hotel Discount Reservations Worldwide - By Agoda as well for booking hotel rooms.

I'm heading to Phuket from the 26th till the 4th of Nov and found it difficult to get the rooms I wanted, it's turning into high season!

Blue Ocean is a good little hotel with a small pool and right on Soi kepsap for daytime activities..... 3 mins walk to the beach.....and 5 to Bangla....you will need to get a written email saying there is no joiner as they are a bit mixed with their rules (ie will sieze an oportunity if in the mood)
