Family Hotel - Balcony + Pool
Does anyone know of a decent family hotel in Patong?
Were travelling Feb/March 08' for 21 nights.
I'm looking for a family room for x2 adults + x2 children. I don't want to pay Holiday Inn prices either. Were looking - "Hoping" - to pay around 3500Baht per night.
Hotel has got to have balconies and a swimming pool.
If anyone can help, then please leave a genuine reply and if possible please could you give me a name or link to hotel.
Many Thanks.
Steve.

Poppa Palace might fit the bill, the Salathai would certainly fit the bill and the Royal Pawadee would too. Plenty of places in that price range.
Thinking about it, the Salathai definitely.
Salathai Resort Phuket
And tha Pawadee definitely too:

Many Thanks for replying back with links advice etc.
As a family we've searched our little fingers off, looking at pages and pages of search engine finds.
One thing that we've noted since staying at patong november/december 2006 is that prices of hotels are jumping up.
I think because Phuket has now become a popular holiday haunt for the British, people have got on to this and are slowly putting there prices up.
I've had a few suggestions of hotels that are located away from the beach, these seem to be the cheaper range of hotels. This is not a problem so long as the hotel has a pool, family suite(2 bedrooms) and a must - The Balcony! Blame the wife for the last one......"Expensive Ciggies"
Anyway, please keep any suggestions of hotels coming.
Many Thanks.
Doyley.

November to April is High Season, it's more expensive.
Another one is Swiss Palm Beach Apartments, Phuket hotels, Thailand: apartments and studios at Swiss Palm Beach in Patong
Cheers.

Not only the Brit's, but many Aussie's are going to Thailand instead of Bali, as it appears safer. Also add to the fact that JetStar have also increased services to Thailand is another factor.
