Butties and cakes downstairs, 2 stalls with seating.

Not sure if the cafe selling hot food (mostly Thai IIRC) is still on the upper level.

Not sure about alcholic beverages. Stock up at 7-11 afore ye go?

Which airport?

I presume you mean new one, if so I cant remember much around the gates apart from the few shops you pass before the actual gates. Best bet is to eat before check-in. But saying that im usualy too fcuked to look around for anything to eat, so there could be.

At Don Mueang, after check-in, you can go to the far left section of this area. There are 2 restaurant areas. I usually go to the one on the right hand side. There they serve all kind of food, including western food and brekkies. Enough choice.

As the OP Steve has edited his post after most of the replies, it appears he is talking about the new airport Suvarnbhumi 55555.

Steve, domestic departures are on the same floor as international IIRC, on the 4th floor. If you go down one of the escalators by the revolving door entrance/exits, there are a few decent food shops on that level. Some nice Thai food but I wasn't looking for a beer, no doubt that is on that level too if you keep looking.

I have always thought that you couldn't 'transfer' between the international and domestic unless you were connecting to a flight directly.

Oh and Jizz, I bet you feel like a co0ck now!

There are a big restaurang where you hv to buy a prepaid card where you could either sit inside or outside, where you can smoke.
The prices are not the cheapest.
Don't remember the name.

As I went there today on my daytrip, CityGarden was one of the only few options I saw. Still reasonable prices and nice inside, the high fee's were for the drinks, the food itself were quite cheaply priced.
