Little Buddha and Paripas Mansion

So the ticket has been booked and I arrive in Phuket early March.

For this trip I want to stay in the Nanai Road area and two of the places I am seriously considering are Little Buddha and Paripas Mansion. In the area of choice but within walking distance of central Patong.

Both are well priced and having done the obligatory search come with some good reviews.

Is there anyone out there that has stayed in either lately or perhaps has a little advice that can help me decide?

Thanks

I stayed one night in the Paripas Mansion last trip about 2 months ago...

I couldn't fault the rooms, basic but clean...

I thought it was a little bit too far from the action and I didn't really like the look of the little soi that its on (just off Nani rd)... I'm not sure about March but there were a lot better options for accommodation around Soi Sansabai when I was there...

Don't know anything about the other place you mentioned.

I have stayed in Paripas for a longer period.
There was some mixup with bookings,so i had to move, and rent a house,
since i was staying in Patong for 2-3 months.
I had already payed for 1 month in advance, and when i had to move i still had
3 weeks left. The owner would not pay back the difference

A while back I took a note of Paripas myself as one to consider but after seeing a road map it looked too far away from bangla to me.

Been to both

As for the room I would prefer little budha.
As for location- little budha
As for Pool- Paripas, none at Little Buddha
I also didn't care for the soi that Paripas is on. If you have a motorbike it shouldn't matter.
Both have good prices.
If you stay at Little Buddha get a room away from the street.

I stayed at Little Buddha, in a Superior room, this past April. No complaints at all. Room was big with a very clean shower and toilet. No extra price for joiners, they will need to leave ID card at front desk. Overall a very fair price, will stay here again on my next visit.
