Toy Residence is up behind Nanai and you will be up for at least 100 baht each way in Tuk Tuk... to walk would probably talk you 40 mins... But it does have bloody great views.

HEE Irish Jonny i took your advice, i called the hotel (a faster method than emailing) and yes they said it was ok to bring a ''different girlfriend'' every night, that was there exact wording ... the catch is since the hotel is 30 minutes from Patong, they can even hire a taxi for me who would take me to town every night and wait for me to bring me back with a girl of course or two girls or a ladyboy or ... sorry i got carried away .. anyway this taxi service will cost me 800 baht (total per day) damn, it is a bit expensive but then again whose counting right !.... we live once ... better spend the money when we are living than dieing with a fortune in the bank ... by the way i am 30 years old today and i am very content with my life, if i go right now, the only regret i would have is not visiting phuket before, thats it ....

Write an email so they can respond in writing about the "no joiner fee" - That way they can't stick you when you get there...
The communication gap in Thailand verbally can be wider then you think

Don't forget the joiner fee of 500-1500 bht per night which they forgot to tell you about or two BG's x 1000 + 800 = 2800 not a bad deal you say.

Guys
If you are all pre booked at the hotel or when you turn up at your hotel you all complete the registration form, then in my opinion your party are guests of the hotel, not a visitor for a few hours or overnight. It is my assumption joiner fees are for visitors, not guests. So even if you sister turns up as a visitor (not a guest) then I assume the joiner fee will apply
Guys please please read all the threads about Accomm, will save a lot of hassle for everyone
ps although the chances of a farang being asked are you are a visitor are slim
Cheers G

Have stayed at a few hotels in Bangkok & Khon Kaen with my Thai GF, we book in together, no problems, sometimes ask for her ID, they check your room no and who is staying there, no probs, end of story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
