Golden Buddha Guesthouse

First post. Been readingfor a couple of months. Really good stuff here, thanks to all contributors.
Coming over in March for a month and have booked Golden Buddah Guesthouse. All reviews on AsiaHotels Site are very good but could be false.
Anyone know this place. It seems to be where I want to be, away from the action a bit, up on the nanai Rd. From previous threads I know I'll probably need to get a motorcyle too.
Another thing. I have looked at going to language school at Anna's in Patong. I am really interested in learning some basics because the Thais I know there don't speak great english. Any comments on this appreciated.

Welcome to the board Le Pew. I've found the reviews on Asiarooms.com to be very helpfull when selecting new properties to stay at. Look for those with as many reports as possible,weed out those from idiots, eg those that complain because staff did not smile at them, (usually coz they shout at them in English). A great idea to learn some thai. You will see the smiles break out when you speak a few basic words to these wonderful people

Another thing Le Pew, I just saw on another thread only 16 deaths on motor cycles last month in Phuket. Be werry werry careful.
