guest friendly hotels
we stayed at Patong Villa - 1000 baht per night for superior room - widest bed in the world - easily get 4 in it if you are up to it!. very friendly, use pool at all hours, very clean, excellent all round. Less than five minutes from soi eric, beach, macdonalds - what more could you want! AND no guest fee - enjoy!

I agree, its a very good hotel.Very clean, but the restaurant was dear and not such good food. Also I got the impression they wanted to squeeze every last baht from me by checking the mini-bar before they totalled up the bill, and charged me for 1bottle of water on a 23,000bht bill!
The price is 1750bht during April which I think they class as mid season.
I'd still stay there again though

Thats about right Andy, 1750bht per night is mid season price so over Xmas has to be more.1750x33 = 57750=£825 plus Xmas &NY Eve supplement.
It is a nice place though even for £25 a day! See attached pics

do a deal
we stayed there for 9 days , with seven people and they were quite happy to do a deal with us on the price. I am sure that they will do something for you for 33 days - they were very accommodating and happy to del with us. good luck

hello chanook, dawsey & others who visited patong villa,
i chcecked their web page and hotel looks really nice. unforetunately they present only high seasson prices.
the cheapest offer i found on phuket-photos.com says 1.100 for STANDARD room in low season...
do u have any idea how much i could get standard/superior room in low season (october) for 2 weeks ???
is the hotel quiet eventhough its close to nightlife?
do i need to confirm no-fee guest friendly status by e-mail before i go ?
thanx for any advice, info !!!
i really aprreciate,
LJ

I checked what rates I have on my own booking page, 1100 for standard room and 1400 for deluxe room in low season.
Latestays.com is just for last minute bookings to get rid of empty rooms they have at the moment. To be honest, if you plan to arrive in October I think you dont need to worry about booking in advance, drop in and ask for a good price, since October is usually quiet.

Club Bamboo
You might want to take a look at www.clubbamboo.com. A nice hotel on Nanai and is guest friendly. I am sure you can find a good rate for the place on websites like asiatravel, phuket.com or similar sites

Hi LJ
Click on www.phuket.com/patongvilla/index.htm and you can get the latest prices by putting in the dates you wish to stay in the "booking a room" column at the foot of the page. Alternatively, send them an email at
enquiries@patongvilla.com and they will confirm price, availability and if you ask, confirm they are guest friendly. As for a discount on the advertised prices, you may be lucky as its one of the quietest times of the year.
At night you will find it is extremely quiet although only 5mins walk from Bangla Rd
Enjoy your stay
