C&N hotel
just a report on my C&N hotel stay
i had stayed in rooms around the corner from c&n hotel(not spa) before so i liked staying in that area which is just a short walk(2mins) from bangla rd but far enough away to hear no noise in the hotel.
i was overall impressed with the hotel, the staff where very friendly and always helped when they could. They also had a small travel desk which i did not use but always a good extra when you have a hangover and cant face outside travel desks which may not get you what you want.
the rooms had a nice marble bathroom and tiled floor, there was a balcony but didnt look out onto much but still nice to watch other people looking out (hoping to see a bit of flesh
The hotel had free wi-fi which was on and off ,ie i got it for the first day then limited access for next 3 then got it again for a while, may have just been my room,my room was 205 4th floor, sometimes i like 1st or 2nd floor so i can just take the stairs as a few times the lift didnt work or took a while.
i managed to get up for 2 breakfasts because of the election drinking ban,the breakfast was quite nice as you could pick what you want, bacon, cereal, curry, pancakes ,bread yogurt etc and you could go up and get more although sometimes it took a while to get more stuff out.i never got room service so i cant comment on that.
theres a big long lobby which has a tv and lots of sofas where i guess you can relax or have a drink.
i payed i think 1500baht from 14th dec till 20th then 1700baht from 20th.
it was lady friendly which was good, had no problems there.also they pick you up from the airport for 550baht which was good for me as i lost my bag and took half an hr to get out of the airport and the guy was still standing there with my name on a board,i always wanting my name on one of them boards
The same guy dropped me to the airport on my way to samui and his phone rang,he handed it to me and it was one of the females receptionist who always gave me a wee smile and chuckle, she said she didnt get to say goodbye and when will i be back,he also took my number and sent a few texts, all a bit of good fun
its always hard to review a hotel and call it good as everyones view etc of a good hotel is different,i not fussy but a good modern looking hotel is what i like!!

That's odd, when you stay for over 3 nights the airport pick-up is free. It looks like you might have an fan at the front desk. Just make sure on your next trip to lay the groundworks, that could become an awkward situation. You're coming in with a girl and the lady receptionist is there. Anyway, I always stay at the C&N, so far I have nothing to complain about. I will be staying there come late March.

The C&N front desk girls have, over the years, gained a bit of a reputation for 'dating' selected guests. They choose, not you, hence it's not happened to me, but a few of my younger and better looking mates have had success there!
The airport pickup should be free. Just give them your flight details when you book & re-confirm about a week before arrival.
The best rooms for WiFi are on level 2 over the reception/dining area, although I have received it on level 3 (308 from memory).

hi my bad yes the taxi service was free,i just check my email from them i thought they maybe put it on my bill.
i dont think the breaky is free it says 150baht when you look walk into the lobby ,they just took my room number and i assume they added it to my bill as i only got it 2 days and had a mini bar bill im not too sure but its worth 150 i think.
i think hotels girls should be left as fun or too joke with ,if you **** them and bring girls back they are pissed off, even if you dont bring girls back they will be clingy and may have an uncomfortable stay

Since the topic is the C and N Hotel, i would like to stay in the VIP room. According to their website, it has a living area. Does this mean it is separated from the bedroom or its just one big room?
I stayed there last year and i liked the hotel very much.

Stayed there most of July, the rate was 700. There was no restaurant or breaky as they were renovating ( not that I cared , I just ate at the little place opposite, cheaply). Forgot to post how I got stuck in the lift when the power went out...one of the blackest and scariest 5 minutes of my life...hot too.
The rate was 1400 in early December and set to rise so I moved. Didnt know about the airport service but breakfast was good and FREE.
A good place and nice staff but too old to 'date', even for me...555

Breakfast was included according to my bill for December. The rate of 1,700 was broken down as 1,500 for the room and 200 for breaky (2 people @ 100 each). The inclusion of breakfast was the reason for the steep hikes in prices. I'm expecting the same when I return in 6 days time, although the quoted rate is only 1,400. I still generally eat across the soi at Bao's.

Yes Bao 's is cool....all you need in that Soi, food, Salon, Internet , laundry and 3 bars. Massage and another Salon/vehicle hire and more bars around the cnr... Theres always The Big Business and a cluster of small , parasite businesses in LOS...
