Flights booked, now for a hotel!!!!!
Hi bm's, as the title suggests, i have now booked my flights (Thanks everyone for their help. £560 in total . Arriving on the 26th November - 11th December.I will still buy the bm's who gave advice a drink, when im there! ) but i still have no clue about which hotel to use.
The one i stayed at before was very good, The coconut village, but not girl friendly. They also charge a supplement for single people!!!!!
Therefore i have narrowed it down to two choices; C&N hotel and Stoney Monday Oasis. I have read enough good reports on the C&N hotel from this board, to know its good. But the stoney Monday place does look extrememy good, brand new and offers extras like free pick-ups from the airport and massages! The only prob i can see with this place is the lack of mention on these boards. (Except for the member/salesmen who writes in orange!!!)
Therefore i would like to know anyones opinion on this hotel!!! Good or bad!

THE C AND N DO FREE PICK UP FROM AIRPORT..IM STAYING THERE AT THE MOMENT AND HAVE FOUND NO PROBLEMS WITH THE HOTEL OR ITS STAFF.ITS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO ALL THE NITE SPOTS...NOT LIKE STONEY MONDAY WHERE YOU HAVE TO TAKE A TUK TUK ALL THE TIME..THATS MY LITTLE MENTION...

Hi Sishow, if you think Stoney Monday may be a good choice for you then try it. If close to nightlife is important then head for C&N.
I guess Stoney Monday is about 10-15 minutes walk to Bangla.
If you plan to rent a motorbike then the location is not important at all.

15 min walk........
Thanks for the reply.
15 mins walk is a bit to far for me........... like a marathon, but not the good old chocolate kind. But i dont mind getting a tut tut, as it gives me time to stop feeling sick after far too much singha.
I will look in to C&N today to see what they are offering!!
Thanks again.

tuk tuk costs
Hi,
It might seem like a small point, but if you go to the hotel far away, then tuk tuk will be 100 baht there, and 100 baht back for your night time trip.
If you need shopping, or want to do stuff in the day time then you have to pay 200 baht again, so you could be paying around 400 baht every day for nothing. Your trip lasts for 13 days, so 400baht x 13 days = 5,200 baht!!
5,200 baht for NO REASON!
That could pay for one hell of a night on the drink.
or
5 days of getting sucked off ALL NIGHT by the women of your dreams plus 40 baht taxi money for the girls
Tuk tuks seem to be cheap, but when you add the cost up over your holiday its wasted money.
My advice - Stay at C & N and get your nob chomped

Nob chomped. Heyyyy
Good point, never thought of the nob chomping clause!
Its like over here u think of everything in terms of beer. So like that pair of shoes is 40 beers, or that magazine is 2 beers. Must learn to convert things to nob chomping's!!
Anyway, looks like im going to be staying at C&N. As the email's back and they have room!
So at last my holiday's nearly sorted. Flights, hotel and spending money in place. All i need now is the ladies!
 4 months to go
