Just called into the local Flight Centre in Chch & they claim to be having a big sale next Sunday 10/2/08. It's an Expo at the Convention Centre but apparently ok to claim the special fares at the branch.
I'm a bit skeptical that they will actually be proper cheap fares, after all they offered trips to Bangkok for $1400 up until 31/1/08 & now it's Feb they're over $1500. I think they're the sort of company that will drop the price back to $1400 buts let wait & see.
Might be useless info, but better to share it than keep it to myself
