GF = No JF?
Hi all,
So first post....
With accomodation I can classify it as:
- No guests allowed
- Guests allowed, but joiner fee
- Guests allowed and no joiner fee
When people flag places as GF are they referring to the last option or the last 2?
Oh - I'll be hopefully making my first trip to LOS in the middle of the year sometime!

Hi and welcome to the board.
Sometimes some people will classify a low joiners fee as GF(300-500 baht).

The vast majority of people on this Board would talk about GF as being option 3 exclusively.
Welcome to the Board, enjoy your first trip.

Option 3 is GF. Not that I partake of this particular activity.
Welcome, have fun and make sure you get that holiday.

Totally agree, but have read reports about hotels, where they write that it is GF in the beginning of their report, and a little bit further on down the text you can see that they have been charged a "small" sum. think I've even read one where it was stated that 1000 baht was quite GF, as the punter in question earlier had stayed in either hotels that was No Guest, or charged 3000 baht.
Not being bothered to look for the report though, could also have been on another board?

Just ask on the board and you will get the necessary feedback from someone who has stayed at the hotel you are thinking about...nothing worse than getting hit with a big joiner fee every night!

Another Aussie!
Welcome and GF definitely means no joiner fee, as in you can take a guest back to your room for 1 hour or a few days at no extra hotel room cost
