i would think no, 600b is not going to get much, deck chair on the beach o/night maybe, why not save a bit more get something decent, no offence meant if that's your final budget but 600b doesn't get much.

ive just spent hours looking and emailing g/houses for monthly rates and the closest i got was 450 per day at victoria g/house .
that was for 2 month stay.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Lawan Residence is 400 bht per night for a continous 30 day stay.

Dont get confused.. Phuket isnt cheap !!! Long gone are the days of Thai prices and beach bungalows at 300 baht... This is an international tourist hotspot with all that entails.

If your worried about 300 baht rooms.. I dread to think what your going to say about 150 or 180 baht mixed drinks !! Or 200 baht for 2 sun loungers.. 150 - 200 baht per day bike rental.. or.. or.. or..

Baan ton sai may have a fan room (no TV or anything) for 12k a month.. Might do 9k if you push them.

Perhaps consider a place where your budget will stretch further ??

If you are talking 600 bht per room, (300 each) then there will be loads of rooms. If 300 bht for a room each, then you will struggle to find anything. Consider increasing your budget to 500 bht per room, have some choice then.

Didn't have so much to do today so I tried to see if I could find some really cheap accomodation in Patong for you.

The cheapest i found, Crown Hostel, is located in Soi Sansabai and the rate for a single room is $11.16 per night.
See the link for more prices.

HB-247.com: Crown Hostel, Phuket, Thailand

Quote:
It's only 5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes walk to all major bars, clubs, shopping centers and restaurants. You can also book all your tours/ activities from the hostel.

Most of our guests simply want the basics and a realistic room rate. This is what we guarantee.

If you are on a budget & wish to stay at an inexpensive but quality accommodation in Patong Beach on Phuket Island, please email us adding any questions you may have.

300BHT EACH per night should get you one of a choice of guest houses along soi Baanzan...near the markts/Jungceylon and a 10 mins walk to the beach....no pool but many of these places are quite nice and realatively new

Cheap Room

I just came back from visiting 10 guesthouses on Soi Baanzhan (behind Jungceylon) and the least expensive room was 800 Bht for a small room with no windows (Chalermporn Guest House). They are all pretty much full with only a couple of nights here and there available. The average price was about 1500 Bht for a nice room with all the expected ammenities.

Low season (May) prices start at 500 Bht per night.

Thanks for the much answers. The best is if the accommodation is around Patong becasue we want to make party.I think the one offer is not bad and from the price ok.I do not want to make much for the accommodation becasue I will only sleep there. The rest of the time Iam in the city or at the beach.

For more accommodations I will be happy.

Cheers worldbar

I found a dorm style place with 4 bunk beds in a small room with a shared bathroom for 300 Bht per night at the Sea Blue Gusthouse on Banzaan Rd. Mission accomplished-a room in Patong for 300Bht and no tent!! Of course sleeping in closed quarters with 3 other guys who have been drinking cheap draft and eating who knows what you may need a gas mask!!!

Sorry my math is bad as it would be 7 other guys with the 4 bunk beds.

Good news is that Guesthouses on Soi Banzaan are dropping their prices and it's only March.

I just saw signs for 800/night, another place is 600/, if you pay for 14 days. The 300B dorm rooms even discounts for long stays.

It'll only be cheaper around here in May.
