Another hotel which is guest friendly without hassles.
Not in the heart of the action so is nice & quiet.
Walking not a problem as they rent motorbikes to their guest 150 bt/day
End of the soi (veerakit on nanai rd has motorbikes taxi men every night of the week so no problem getting to the action at night when you want to get drunk - 20 bt)
When drunk , pronounce the soi as ''soi veelakit'' most motorbike taxis know it , if not - tell them to go past the hospital on soi sai nam yen , turn right (liaw kwah) into soi nanai , over a small bridge then you see a luminated sign about 100 yrds or so for the hotel on the right pointing the way into soi veerakit.
Hotel owners & staff are very nice people ( family owned and good price for rooms)
Had many a happy night there http://www.phuketdir.com/paripasmansion/

Add Club Bamboo to the guest friendly list
I just spent 10 days at Club Bamboo and kept my girl with me the whole time.
I registered for double occupancy, but there was no joiner fee and the staff treated her like a regular customer. 3 stars with good prices and excellent service!

Please add the Sunhill Hotel to the list of "friendly" hotels. It's located right next to the Club Bamboo, on Nanai Road. Beautiful clean rooms, great staff, and reasonable rates. Just finished 12 days there, and it's now "my" choice in Patong.

Their website is impressive and rates seem fair. I just may stay there this tour, depending on what they tell me. Thanks for the link!

Give them an email, but it will be at least 1000B. It is a family type hotel & that is the market that they cater to; you will be better off in another hotel but I have a feeling you have already booked!!

I'm booked to stay there in April...
After reading a negative post or 2 from this hotel, I decided to follow up on it.
I sent them an email & got a reply saying 3000baht per guest/per night
I went into panic mode straight away....Got onto my travel agent & changed the details of my room to a double occupancy...No problems..My t/a even paid the $25 to upgrade it.
I then sent the hotel manager another email stating that with a room paid for 2 will there be any fees.?
I received an email back from the manager saying that if the room is booked for 2 people then there will be no charges...However the guest/s must register at reception each time.
Of course I have copied the managers reply & will be keeping it with my travel docs.......I can sense a bit of a shitfight when I get there, but I hope I'm wrong.

I stayed at Baan Sukahothai last year. Good hotel but charge 1000B for overnight guest & that want them out by 7am so not guest friendly.
If you are going through a travel agent they are unlikely to have any hotels that are guest friendly.

I would like to add are Harry's hotel to the guest friendly list.

It's close to Bangla and the beach and the staff has always been REALLY friendly to me and my guests.

the morel of the story is--don,t book a hotel through a traval agent !
trav agents will only have family orientated hotels available
for obvious reasons--ie--theyre not going to send mr &mrs jones & little jimmy &and little janet to a hotel full of mongers are they?

It is better off booking your own flights & book a guest friendly hotel your self. A travel agent is not required, they will not offer you a guest friendly hotel.
The cost will be about the same because travel agents quote on double occupancy & if you are going by yourself they charge a single supplement.

Hopefully everything goes well.... but if it doesn't just find a guesthouse at around 5-600bht & take her there & use your hotel as a base; you will get some experience for your next trip.
This is what I did when I stayed at the Baan Sukahothai last year, now I book my own accommodation.
