Just an update - Got the 600 baht/night rate for the C&N Hotel for only 2 nights stay at the end of October.

Seems like a nice hotel! Does anyone know if the walk in rates are the same?

I´m not really sure when I will be in Patong yet, so I don´t want to book online!

We go quoted 800 baht/night from the 21st to the 29th, I replied back advising we were quoted 700 just a week ago. I also wrote that since there was 3 of us it was equal to a 3 week booking ...no dice:

"Your period is near the end of October and it's going to be high season so we cannot discount room price for you but if you stay more than 2 weeks we can discount for you."

We have given up and decided 800 at a guest friendly Hotel is good enough...just a pity we are paying a bar-fine more every night...lol

MLay, I`m arriving on the 27 Jan 05 and the hotel quoted 1200 bht per night,I sent them an e-mail back reminding them of the good customer I have been for the last 5 years,arriving normaly end of Jan and July and staying up to 4 weeks at a time.

I reminded them of the rate I pay in Jan that is 1000 bht per night,they repied if I pay on arrival they will charge me 1000 bht per night.

I think you should send them an e-mail and remind them that you are a good customer and you are happy to pay 1000 bht per night on arrival.

Yes I have a teelak but this girl was almost a ten. I've seen her around Patong before but the timing wasn't right but this night it was. I got to soi Tiger and she was at Crazy Horse the second bar on the right at soi Tiger. I was mesmerized (which is not easy as I live in Patong) She was tiny, cute, with a beautiful face, not busty (but my Teelak is) so I wanted something differant.
We talked and she knew me from seeing me around (what that means I don't know) I asked her if she wanted to leave the bar now and go drink at my hotel. She didn't know was that I wans't staying there but we first went to 7-11(beer & condoms) then C&N . The hotel wasn't expecting me but I thought we could just drop in and get a room. At first the staff said yes they had a room for 1200. a night when I inquired that the rate was very high and I live in Phuket they looked again and said they might not have any rooms available.
I said scew this and went down the street to my buddiy's hotel Stoney Monday(only reason I didn't do this before was that we were walking so we got on a motorcylce taxi for one minute) the room was 500 baht. I was in heaven being with someone so differant than the girl I had been with so many times before. The room was great and just what I needed for my short time.
I think C&N is now aware of this forum and should be giving discounts instead of jacking prices.

Just my opinion.

was that the girl who was observing the Vegetarian Festival whom I also met the other night we were at Crazy Horse? she's very cute!

I also stayed at the Stoney Monday and it was a nice friendly place. Although on the night of the flooding and heaving rain the ceiling in my room started to leak water (my room was on the 4th floor) but the staff quickly switch room for me so it was no problem whatsoever.

their room and good location.

10 seconds walk then you are at the PS Hotel and Expat, their competitor are
very near.

Yes I have noticed C&N getting Greedy. Stoney Monday on the other hand offer Board Members a 10% discount if you mention that you are a member of Phuket Forum. Now that is good value to me. Stoney Monday is new, clean and funky and only a 20bht taxi ride of 2 minutes whereas C&N is old, stale and EXPENSIVE...

As they say in Thailand UP TO YOU !!!!!!!

I had already 'ban' myself from staying at C&N effective this coming December tour due to their outrageous treatment (pricewise) of their regular customers (which include myself).

Might try the hotel on my next tour but there are alot of other hotels near Soi Bangla which I haven't tried yet due to my 'loyalty' to C&N.

Distance (the nearer the better) from Soi Bangla is an important factor and I prefer to walk.

Ive checked them out, And there prices are dearer for a double room, I sent them an email asking how much the double room(blissful room) was and was told it was 1300 for april, I then sent them another email explaining that id be staying for 4wks and that i was a member of this board and they said i could have the room for 1200!! Now normally if you were staying in a hotel for 4wks they would give it to you cheaper, But they didnt give me any 10% discount??

So if i was to stay in stoney it would cost me more than c&n and is long way away from the action unlike c&n which is just across the road, I agree with you though that the rooms look a lot nicer and definatly newer, But honestly id rather pay the same money to stay in c&n because its much closer to all the action. But if you can get me a better price then maybe id reconsider staying in stoneymonday

I did a walk-in and paid 765 baht per night upfront for 6 night stay in a Blissful Room at the Stoney Monday in October. Regular price is 850 baht. I think April is still considered high-season so they quoted you 1300 baht. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to Bangla Road and there are motorbike for hire right across the street.

Yeah i could probably get it cheaper if i did a walk-in but i want to have it all sorted before i get there, I dont want the hassle of having to run around looking for a room, I can think of a lot better things to be doing with my time if you know what i mean And i would not rent out a motorbike over there even though i have a licence its well to dangerous in los for me, Sure i dont even get on the motorbike taxi's I actually done the bungee jump over there and felt much safer So unless i can get a better deal than that id rather stay in c&n or another one close to bangla.
