Sorry Jason, I see what you mean now, why dont they fly Sydney/Phuket. I guess just looking at their schedules they dont have time as the aircraft turns around in Bangkok, and if they went via Phuket that would put them into Bangkok at about 10pm.
Would be good timings tho, into Phuket around 8pm. Dump and run at the hotel into a bar around 9:30pm just in time for some action. Sure would beat the Thai arrival at 6am.
