names of new patong beachfront hotels?

I go to Patong each June/July. Last year I saw Sandy House, Patong Beach Bungalows and The Beach Resortel being reconstructed. I presume there are now new Hotels open in those locations???

After extensive Googling, I cannot find the names of these Hotels. Can anyone tell me the names and perhaps, something about them?

Try using Tui Travel Asia - Australia hotels,Singapore hotels,Thailand hotels and Japan hotels with instant confirmation - check hotel availability book your hotel room You should be able to nail down the names with a little research.

Thanks Spector but I have tried that site and many others. Problem is, Hotel booking sites are very vague about the PRECISE location of Hotels. This is because a Hotel named "surf and sand" is often 5km from the beach!!!

I need someone currently living in Patong to reply. Please help.

By the way, I stayed at the Beach Resortel for 5 consecutive "rainy seasons". When I saw it in July 07 it was totally gutted - sigh -

Baan Lamai is a nice choice and can usually get it on latestays.com for a good price
they were renovating in august but may be done

i will not stay in that part of beach rd again because i come home late(5-6am) and was constantly harrassed by LB's

but if you are not a late partier, shouldnt be a problem

also, Safari Beach up closer to Bangla is a good choice. they have a few rooms directly on the beach

Yoy also have Patong Bay Garden.
Patong Beach Bungalows is completely destroyed. The Good family (Savoey seafood, Mr Good seafood etc. Bought it for big money. December they were constructing a building on the site (shopping center? Condo's? Hotel?)
