Talking Hotel in Pattaya

Hi ,

someone can tell me a good hotel in Pattaya (Like C&N in Patong):

-price max 1000/1200 bath
-location around the action
-NO guest fee.
-good and friendly.

Thanks

Talking Sandy Springs Hotel

Hi guy the Sandy Springs Hotel on Soi. 13 is great! girl friendly (No I.D. check) friendly staff, 1000 bt. a night, clean, pool, close to all. No fee for girls, get a room on the 7th floor or higher for a view of the beach.

I have not been to Phuket yet but I was recomended the C&N for mongering, now I am bringing a girl with me, so can you help me out. I would like a place for 2400 bt a night close to beach, pool great view, and can bring a girl or two back with? thank you send pm for more S.S. info or photos Ramster

Just want to back Ramster's recommendation of Sandy Spring Hotel. It's fantastic - really well done rooms, spacious, spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff, no problem at all about bringing guests back and it's nice and quiet even though it's close to all the action. They could charge a lot more and it would still be good value. And its well worth paying the little bit extra for a seaview room on the top floors - the view really is magnificent. It also has a nice, secluded sun terrace and a big swimming pool.

Only one tiny thing - although they do room service food, they don't have a sitdown restaurant or coffee shop. But it's no problem. Just turn right when you come out of the front doors, walk for 30 seconds and there's an English pub called The Sportsman that does great food. Try the toasted sandwiches. Or walk for 30 seconds to the left and cross the soi for an excellent bar owned by French people who do good Thai and top class French food. There's even a quiet little beer bar exactly next door to the hotel, with one or two sweethearts in it, if you can't be bothered to walk to the main action.

I can't wait to go back there!

Ramster, in answer to your Patong question, I'd recommend the Patong Pearl Resotel. Again, nice rooms, nice staff, no problems about guests and good location.

Send a message via ICQ to Nicke
Sala Thai, Thara Patong and Patong Villa is other options close to the beach and with swimming pool.

If you want a good view then Hilltop or Royal Paradise Hotel may be an option.

Definitely Nana !!!! (just cross the road and you'll find yourself at Nana Plaza).
Try to avoid Tai Pan (expensive and not guest friendly at all).

Red face Bangkok

In Bangkok we stayed at the Majestic Suites Better than the Nana.I.M.O.P. My friend from Ireland stayed at the Nana said the M.J. was better. Close to all, 1200 bt. a night, Nana Plaza is one block away. Restaurant inside is good free breakfast. They will ask for I.D. cards from girls no fee, no problem with girls. Watch the steps (very steep)

The Majestic Suites look like a real bargain. I was staying a bit farther up the soi at the Woraburi, which was OK, but more expensive and not as smart as the Majestic. Someone was telling me that if you ask for a room on one of the higher floors the views are fantastic.

The Dynasty in Pattaya is also worth mentioning.New building, meets Mrarcus criteria, and if you stay 2 days it's a free shuttle from Bangkok Dynasty.
I've heard so many good things about Sandy Springs that I'll be trying them first next time, but the Dynasty is a solid choice and I wouldn't hesitate to use them as a backup.Soi 13 just up the street from Sandy Springs.

Also, just to add to Paddy's restaurant tour of Soi 13,out the door of Sandy Springs turn left,on the left side halfway down to Beach Road is a roofed but open air restaurant(fish tanks on one side, big blackboard with menu out front)beside a beer bar which was called the Girl Guides Club last December.Maybe I'm easy to please but I had some excellent dinners there.Roast beef with all the trimmings was great and a roast chicken dinner same same.

cheers
