I took a limo from Hat Yai to Phuket once. That's about half the distance. The cost was about 7000 baht. The sent the car the day before to be ready in the morning. There were two drivers (To Bangkok that surely would be a requirement)

Why would you want to drive?
A flight would only be the fraction of the cost, a fraction of the time and much safer.

He is wanting to go to Pattaya....

Depending on traffic takes about 2 hours, you will probably be paying around 1000 baht and most taxis will take you..

HUH

???

For Bangkok to Pattaya and return, I recommend "Mr. Toom", private taxi service.

Try the search engine at the top...put in Mr. Toom.

Yes, either that or a bus.

About 1:45 to 2:00 drive in taxi, at approximately 1200 to 1500 baht.

Try the search engine, there's about 2,390 posts covering it all. 5555

This is my last word on the subject! 55555 (for my friend Paulie)

Oops obviously read it wrong.

..... I just replied to a post about Phuket to Krabi before this. Guess I still had Phuket on my mind.

I should/would have answered Mr Toom as well.

Not bad !! That means you "walk" at over 20mph - impressive

Perhaps you should enter the walking comps in the Olympics ? Actually, at that speed, you'd end up winning all the running events as well and all you would have to do is just walk your "normal" speed !!!
