All these great reviews I may have to come down from nanai for a holiday Billpay!!

I bet there's more "ho's" on Soi Sansabai, than in front of Hotel 81 Palace....given the right time of day. 55555
I might be wrong, but I think the Summer Breeze has coffee making equipment, in their suites. (a MUST for me)

Yes, the SB has tea coffee making facilities in the Summer Suites (1480 baht per night, low season). The suites are very spacious with 2 TVs and a nice living room area.
You'd be surprised how often you use the coffee making facilities when you have it in your room!
I recently booked a Summer Suite for 10 nights in September. For only 500 baht more than the standard rooms, they are good value.
Also, I love the full size fridges at SB! I fill them with Chang from the 7-11! Beats the tiny minibar fridges any day!
Though, to Bill's credit, the food and bar prices are very fair and reasonable at the Summer Breeze, unlike many other hotels. Great if you get lousy weather and just want to hang around the hotel for a day!
Look forward to seeing Bill and all the staff again in September!

One of the good things I would like to say about SB is......You do not realise how much easier it is having an in room safe....Like the SB have.
I'm travelling in PI at the moment (stayed in 4 hotels) & with the exception of one hotel (Pacific Breeze, Angeles).....All the others have had the safety deposit boxes at reception.
I will not use them....just carry my bum bag everywhere with me & lock it away in my suitcase each night....Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Pabs they were literally shoulder to shoulder the other night- I kid you not. Loads from the PRC and I ended up with one from Kalim!! not that I counted as I wandered up and down from Loreng 18 to Loreng 12 (purely for research)but a rough estimate would be a couple of hundred at least.

Will walk up and down with a clicker if necessary on Tueday Pablo- purely in the interest of statistical analysis.

I didn't stay at SB on my last visit in Jan. We stayed at Lek Murphys a few doors down, but had meals at SB regularly and indeed seemed like a very nice place. The food was great and the staff was very nice. I look forward to staying there on my next visit hopefully in July.
BTW..does anybody know if Prair still works there...very beautiful young lady.

I'm just checking the thread to make sure nobody is hitting on my girl at SB!
You keep an eye on her Bill and again, tell her I lub her!
Great burger and fries at the bar with a few Tigers and catching up with Petters travels around the oil centers of the known world..........Looking at my girlfriend over the bar (Tall bar that and I have to stand on tip toe to see her! I think Bill must have built it!) and smiling alot, the occasional wink and knowing nod of the head, maybe a bit of eyelash fluttering, me, not her and..................I think I'm going to have a little cry now.

Hmm, I wonder, he never mentions any names, just the tall lady working in such and such bar and/or hotel?

It was exactly the same with yer Mother son. I remember a night at Spotland Working Mans club, she'd beaten a few of the regulars at arm wrestling when I thought I'd have a go!
I gave it a bloody good bash Lad, I could almost see a bead of sweat start to form on her ample forehead, "What's yer name Love?" I asked in a kind of diversionary tactic kind of way. "Drop 'em Doris" she replied as she shattered my wrist over several pints of Oldham Brewerys 'Old Grumble Belly'
The rest as they say is history, so your Mothers name is actually Doris and not Derek as you have been calling her these past 20 odd years or so.
..............and no, it isn't Da Da Da (A retro throw back to 80's Germany)
With a brain as big and as sharp as mine, it's useful that Thai girls chose to simplify thier names to only one or two Nouns and vowels long. Phew..........She works under Tiger BTW.
Ta Muchly!
