Great site....used it for years. Never have booked a hotel in the U.S. or Canada the normal way. Always use priceline or hotwire. I use bidding for travel to see what others have secured rooms at. Then Hotwire to get an idea of the prices in a particular area and star level. One of my secrets is to discount the hotwire price by 20% and use that as your starting bid with priceline. I would guess an 85% success rate. You have to be careful when bidding with priceline though, understand it before you go overpaying and checking off areas or star levels you really don’t want.

Wow....this is my 1000 post!!!!!!!!!

Wow....this is my 1000 post!!!!!!!!!

well, i have used priceline for hotels about 100 times so im pretty experienced'
i did forget about this site for a few years and just remembered it today because i did priceline for 4 star hotel in NYC
229 all in for place that goes for 450.
if i had the site, i would have probably paid about 200 all in, so not bad

i use to do priceline for all my hotels in BKK, but seems a lot harder than it use to be
