bangkok to london one way

been looking to book this for 3,4 or 5th jan 2009, westeast travel site lon to bkk one way £388 but not the other way round ? thai air about £1500 !!!!
any advice please.

It's always tricky booking flights that originate in a different country to the one you are booking from.

You can see why, to be fair, why would you want to book a flight in London that takes you from Thailand to London?

That's the logic that the systems use, but you can book the flight if you want to.

If price is the main thing then for one way tickets your best choice is usually a Chinese airline. For about $200 you should be able to get in China one way and then take a one way out to London. Your dates are too far out to get any deals right now. You might want to check with China Eastern, they fly from Shanghai to London.

Try ringing them or you could visit a travel agent in Bangkok to sort for you.
