Emergency Hotel at Bangkok airport if stuck.

Found this hotel last night “Queens Garden” solved my….. Missed the last flight to Phuket. Nothing fancy, are 10 minutes from the airport. 900B a night plus 150B each way for their shuttle. Total 1200B. They have a manned sign at door 6 on the arrivals level. Pulled me out of a midnight mess with a 7am flight to Phuket today. Beats the 130US from the in-terminal hotel wanted for 4 hours (Lou Armstrong) and the 5000B the Novotel wanted.

I stayed in the Grand Inn Come before, 10 minutes from the airport and has a great fishbowl to kill the time.

I stayed at the Queens Garden Resort for one night last year. It is very convenient if you have an early flight the following day.
The hotel is basic, but very clean and new. Actually, there was still plastic wrapping on some of the furniture!
I liked the location, beside a river and a temple.
The staff were very reliable and arranged wake up calls and transfers.
It's very good value. I wouldn't pay the rip off price asked by the Novotel airport hotel.

Great stuff. Just the thing to file away in the memory banks for the day that it is needed. Good on you.
