kata, karon apartments?
i was just wondering if anyone has any idea what rents are for long term rentals in karon, kata versus patong. i think it might be nice to live over there, closer to beach, a little more quiet. also, if anyone knows how much tuk-tuk is to patong? id appreciate any info

if i do stay for a long time, im thinking ill book a hotel for a week in patong, then maybe a few days after in karon and kata each. see what i like. i really liked the beaches there last time i went last month. i figure id go out to bangla about 4 nights/wk and just pay the tuk-tuk. if i stay i plan on getting a motorbike too, but wouldnt drive it to the bar! id end up in jail or in some shops window on the way home!

Check out Kamala too
I tend to like Kamala more than Kata or Karon but that's just my opinion. 7,500. to 12,000 gets you a little more value than Patong. If you stay long time rent a motorbike. I have a bike and just be careful and your allright. Forget tuks tuks if you stay long time that money is better spent on other things

do you drive the motorbike to the bar at night. all i know is that night me and you hung out i was obliterated,so i dont know how you drove home. does kamala have a nice beach?
