AirAsia Perth - Phuket A$300
This will probably annoy the BMs from the Eastern States of OZ - AirAsia will commence flying from Perth in November and has introductory fares Perth - Phuket return A$300 including all taxes.
I haven't arrived for my next tour yet (May 31) but I'm booking for next year already!

Be careful slanting an airline based on "I think ...", as far as I can tell Air Asia has never had a fatality accident, whereas that could not be said for Thai Airways.
