Bangkok to Koh Samui???
What is the best price that I can get for a plane ticket one way BKK to Samui???
Which company is the best to fly with???
How often does the planes go to Samui, is it just to go the airport the same day and book a flight???
If I shall go to Samui in any other ways, what is recommended??? Bus, boat or train maybe??? Prices???
I also planned to fly from Phuket to BKK when I´m going home, do I have to go to the airport to book a ticket a couple of days before or can I go to the airport the same day??? How much will a ticket cost???
So many questions, but I´m a bit nervous because I´m travelling alone for the first time ever and I don´t want anything to go wrong!!!
Thanks in advance!!!

Use the searchfunktion on this forum. There is alot of usefull information and links in the old posts.
I would recomend flying.Took a bus from Bkk to Samui in June, and it was 8 hours boring trip. Better to pay for flights.
Just ask at the hotel, or just go to the airport and check..You will find that everyone wants to help you.
And dont worry.. It is easier then you can imagine to travel alone. ...

it is much more fun traveling alone aswell,as your forced to talk to people were if your with your mates you tend to stay amongest yourselves,
i travelled alone in April and loved it,its only because i have told my dear old dad so much about LOS that he is desperate to take a look for himself, otherwise i would be on my own again(but not for long) this crimbo .

Flying from Bangkok to Samui, direct there is only one option, Bangkok Air
http://www.bangkokair.com
Alternatively you can fly Thai into Surat Thani, then bus and ferry across to the island, a longer trip but the ferry ride is nice.
If your worried about booking flights, then do it in advance. Depending on the time of the year, you can normally get a fllight at the airport.

Flying to Koh Samui is the most expensive flight in Thialand. The airport is new and there are not as many flights into Samui. You will have to take Bangkok Air to Koh Samui. My advice would be to take the first flight of the day at 6AM. I was there in May and took this flight and it was only 1500Baht. I think that all the other flights are between 2000 and 3000 baht. If you do not mind getting up early then the 6AM flight is your best bet.
When leaving Samui do not forget the 500 baht departure tax on ALL flights both domestic and international. A real ***** if you ask me. Who ever heard of domestic departure tax? I guess somebody has to pay for the new airport. Why not us foreigners?!
After Samui fly to Phuket on Bangkok Air for only 1500baht and then back to Bangkok for 1000Baht. Do a trip of all three places and taste the local cuisine. Or atleast the local poooooooooonany!!!
Cheers and have a good trip.
Ashley.
