Hotel Help, ONce Again (I did RTFF)
So, I've decided on Phuket for the last leg of my tour. Here's what I'm looking for in a hotel:
1. Close to the action.
2. Quiet enough to sleep, well, sort of.
3. In-room safe, this is very important.
4. King size beds.
5. Ocean view.
6. And most importantly, guest/lady friendly, no joiner fee!
Help me out boys. Thanks all.
Ahyes

Ahyes - For a regular on this board have you ever read any posts before?????
Seriously though I only know and care about the C&N as it caters for all my needs:
-Good price
-Located of Soi Bangla
-Guest Friendly
-Friendly Staff
-Big Bed

Honestly mate, you've only got to scroll down the page of this forum and there's tons of stuff about tons of hotels in Phuket. I think there's even a thread where you asked the same question that you're asking now.
I think you're thinking about it too much. At the rate you're going, you'll find it simpler and less stressful to send somebody else on the holiday for you!
Book seven nights at C&N, Hilltop, Patong Pearl or any of the dozens of hotels already discussed. Get pissed and shag yourself senseless. Buy a few T shirts, eat some seafood, go and see the temple if you can be bothered. Simple.

OK, dents. Sound wise words indeedy...and
yes, I AM very excited about wall to wall fanny. I like that one, the way it sounds. ANyhow, I might just settle for the Stoney or Hilltop. I'd be nice to end the trip with nicer amenities, even if a bit of distance.
Maybe I'll get to meet some of you over there. Anyone going to be in Pattaya or Phuket from Sept 1 -9th? Guess I'll drop over to MTB my first day in Phuket and intro myself to Nicke. So my plans are:
Arrive BKK and catch the Roof Garden transport to Pattaya. Stay there for 3rd or so. Fly to Phuket Sept. 3rd, stay until the 9th and fly to BKK in the evening. Hang around the 24bar place at the airport.
Any action to be had at BKK? That would be a nice farewell gift!
See you boys around. BTW, this will be my only ever trip there, so I'll have to make it great!

Why are you so sure this will be your only trip to Thailand? Last March I made my first trip there...and three more before the year ended! Believe me, you'll be back soon, finances permitting. You're going to experience a lot during your vacation. Relax, keep your mind open and enjoy yourself.

Hey
Jonny , allbabba22, Paddy, Bafana and andy50.
You guys are really ****ed up. I don't think there would be any time for you guys to be ****ing any Thai girls as it appears you are more interested in ****ing and blowing each other.
I can't believe that you think that you are helping people with your answers. It is just a site for you to pull yourself off and **** with any new members who wont **** you.
What a bunch of tools you are.

Eh, fellas.
It's all good. Their posts didn't bother me, thanks for the support though. I'm just looking forward to a bit'o stick dippin' is all. The quote about me wanting to get it alllllll right is spot on. Since this will be my first and only, I want it right for me and especially the ladies that share the experience (and rooms) with me. And yes, I am a hopeless, helpless romantic. Damn, I gotta make sure I don't fall for any of these beauties as I've seen many have in the past.
BTW though. By the time you boys wrote the advice to tell me to RTFF, you could have just said the names of a few hotels that fit my needs.
Now lets all us fellas shake hands (wash them first!), and get along.
ahyes!

Firstly thanks for contributing to the board and nice to have you here.
Secondly, considering we actually answered his question and know Ahyes well enouigh to joke with him a bit I think you are a bit over the top - May I suggest some anger management classes or a stress ball...
For a fellow Aussie you have zero tolerence.
And on the treatment of board newbies you are a prime example of why most guys don't waste their time answering question that have been asked a thousand time over.
Don't be a tool fool - Are you gonna lighten up or are we just gonna have to ignore you until you go away?

ahyes, Dont stay at the hilltop hotel if you dont intend on renting a bike its to far, And if you remember i mentioned to you on another tread that i was thinking about staying at stoney monday well if i was you going for the 1st time id pick somewhere a little closer to the action its a bit of a trek im having second thoughts myself about staying there, Here's a few i think you might like there a bit closer to the action, Patong villa's for the superior room is 1400baht, Patong pearl resort is a bit more expensive its 1800 for a superior room but looks great, And if your looking for something a bit less pricey there's Blue ocean resort and thats 1000baht for the superior room and there all guest friendly(no joiner fees), And another one is the tony resort and its doing a promotion the time your going you can get a deluxe room for 1100baht and it looks great, The only catch with that hotel is i dont know yet whether its guest friendly or not but ive sent them an email and hopefully ill be able to tell you tommorow, Hope this helps a bit....
Ps: You can get the web addresses for most hotels in phuket at www.phuket.com and if you want to check out the tony resort hotel go to the top of the screen click on phuket hotels then scroll down the page and click on phuket hotels and then just scroll down to the hotels for $22 a night and if you still cant find it just check all hotel on patong beach and you'll find it.....

Ahyes, I think Patong Pearl Resotel will give you a better deal than 1800 that ally quoted if you go to them directly. I'd be looking for 1250. And it's a very nice hotel with all the things you're looking for except it doesn't have a room safe. But they have safes behind reception and the staff are good as gold.
But Ahyes, after all these questions, we're expecting EXTREMELY long field reports, with all the gory details, OK?
