Question Anyone stayed at the Diamond Cliff Resort?

Just booked my hol and i'm staying at the diamond cliff resort. when i came back from the travel agents and looked on tut net found it was the most expensive! i didn't even realise cause the price was quite fair.
Anyone been there and do they allow girls back?
How long does it take to walk to bangla Rd from here?

Thumbs down too posh hotel for joiners

also their website has an only alternative, jap version --ok if you like a hotel full of nips i spose! you can probably take a joiner back , but it will cost you!email them and ask -your better off getting a less fancy hotel in patong unless your going with your family that is,if your a whorist like us lot, patongs the best place to stay ,try the c&n -or the expat- (im booked into the expat for a month at xmas)or look through this site to find loads of info on the subject --good luck!ask any questions and someone will help-

First time i went to Thailand I booked a tour over whole Thailand with a travel agency. The last five days we stayed in Phuket and our Hotel was the Diamond cliff Resort. On the first night out in Phuket each of us wanted to take 1 girls back to our rooms. But at the entrance of diamond cliff they just told us this was not possible. We even proposed to pay for joiners fee, still a
"njet" as answer. Hotel staff told us Bg's did not fit in in this hotel, excuse was a lot of people with children, but I think it had more to do with something else.

So we went to the girl's rooms. Most of us did not sleep one night in this fancy hotel, we only went their to shower and change clothes.

The hotel is very chique and there's an amazing swimming pool. But I couldn't care less about this. The next time I was in Phuket, I booked my hotels myself in a more price and girl friendly range.

Unhappy

its a big mistake to book a package holiday to los, as the travel agents use family friendly hotels, so if you are a single traveller, and want to have company for the night you cant,i know this for a fact, as i did the same and had to pay 1000bht a night at the holiday inn, unfortunately i didnt know about this site at the time, so payed the price !

I had the same problem on my first trip, My friend booked it through the travel agents and we stayed in the seaview patong and they charged 1200baht a nite for joiner, But it turned out all right in the end thanks to finding this site first, I just booked into c&n for the 10nights at 500baht a night and used seaview to hold all my clothes and used there in room safe for my Passport, ccard and money, So at night brought the girls back to c&n for an all night fcuk fest and then back to seaview for a kip in the day and then just repeated this for the rest of my stay

smarter move indeed, why pay a 1000 baht joiner fee if for less you have an extra room
