i'm going to stay at phiphi natural resort, someone has stayed there? where i can eat at low price?how to get at my hotel in phiphi from my hotel in patong?is it expensive 500 baths per all transport?thanksss

Hi surfer girl. I went to phi phi in July and it is one of the most beautiful places I have seen in the world. you can get to it from Patong by arranging a ferry trip via your hotel or local travel agent ( lots in patong ). when you book this you will be picked up at your hotel and brought to the boat ( by the boat company ). we paid 800 Baht but I have heard that your can get it for 500. on phi phi island you can find accomodation from 80 baht per night up to as much as you want to pay.

Phi phi is a very small island where everything is concentrated in an area covering 100 meters wide 500 meters long. there are very cheap options for eating if you want. the best place to stay is on the quiet side of the island (West ) otherwise you may as wel go to ibiza.

Hey there SurferGirl!

I have been to Phi Phi a few times. It is an absolutely beautiful place. If I am not mistaken I think that the Phi Phi Natural Resort is not very close to the action on Phi Phi. I think it is on the eastern part of the island which will make you have to take water taxi's to get into the small town located on the center of the island. I would recommend you stay at the PP Princess hotel. It is located right on the best part of the beach and only a minute from all the restaurants and bars, shopping etc. It is about 2000 baht per night, last time I stayed there. If that is too much you could stay at PP Charlie which is next to Princess. It was only about 500 baht per night and also right on the beach.

Make sure to take a trip to Koh Phi Phi Leh and visit Maya Bay. The snorkeling and scuba diving are top notch too. If you have the courage sign up for the snorkeling trip to go swimming with the sharks on Phi Phi Don. You will be taken to a place called shark point. Make sure you go on the morning tour as there are more sharks around then during high tide.

Enjoy your visit and the relaxing atmosphere on Koh Phi Phi!! You will love it!

-sounds like you are on a tight budget, but just to let you know, you can also fly to and from Phi Phi with a pick up form your hotel...it costs a lot more than by boat, but the bonus is Phi Phi is just awesome to see from the air! For more information go to www.bluewaterair.com

thanks everybody for the help, at the end i decided to go to the pp charlie resort, it's more expensive than the phiphi natural resort but it's at the center of the action and i just going to expend there 2 days, so it's a good reason to pay a little more money, don't forget that is in the middle of the beach, at just 120 meter from the water, hehehe.i would like to go to maya bay and dive and make excursions, but we would see, not to much money...
ah!and the transport is just 150 baths w/o i saw this in the official web of the hotel...
