Ha ha--its the gay Irish bm here--why do you find it unusual for an Irish guy to be gay?? Yes , holy catholic Ireland has been infiltrated by those damned ****-bandits too--I blame it on the priests meself--lol.
Hello LOT-C3 and welcome. We(my partner and I)--have been to Patong for the last two years--coming back in November/December--and I cant bloody wait. We have stayed in the Diamond Cliff and Merlin Beach resort previously and on both occasions we had booked a suite--which had two double beds in them--so--we didnt have an issue with our sleeping arrangements. This time we are staying at the Holiday Inn-right on the beach in Patong--I have requested a king size superior room--all paid for in advance--I have no idea if it will be an issue when we arrive at the reception to check in--will let u know how it goes.
I have been dipping in and out of the forum over the last year--watching u guys and reading about what antics u get up to--ur a seriously bold lot--I know a good priest who can sort you all out--he he he.
I had some good laughs on here with one or two of the guys in the past--as I remember--Denver was one of them who gave me a hard time--just joking--as u said--I can look after meself--give as good etc.
Anyway--will be contributing a lot more from now on--I have the Patong fever again--lol. oh--and hello to Denver--hope u are keeping well mate.

I'm fine, still recovering from almost getting a kicking last night at my pool for telling someone to put thier clothes back on and to stop treating the BG's they had with them like idiots or head back to their own pool but I'll post that elsewhere.

Your ears must be burning as I was only talking about you to someone last night! Plus my Daughter is over in Dublin right now on business! Spooky or just co-incidences! Who knows.

Hope all the plans come together and you have a great time over here, if you do get a chance to pop over to cc blooms in Kata give it a whirl for the day and catch a sunset there. I think it's worth it.

As far as I know, in Bangkok and Pattaya (straight but gay friendly establishments) do charge joiner fees if we do bring a guy over. But then again, a friend of mine stayed with Hilton in Bangkok and no one bat an eyelid when he went back with a guy.

Most gay hotels do not charge any but you would still register the guest. Some charge if you bring more than one! Talk about being wild.

I have not been to Phuket yet, but as I was bored at work I started going through all sorts of forums relating to Phuket and this forum is informative, exciting, funny and sometimes "*****y". hehe..

I learn lots on here, and realise straight guys and gay guys are quite similar at times! I know i would be out of place and hence my "butch" nick! But I thought I don't really want to be lurking around.

Anyway.. thanks guys and nice to be in this forum. I think this newbie's gonna fall in love with Phuket in 2 weeks' time!!
