Hello,
My friend and I are getting ready for our first trip to phuket and need a little help from the members here! We have been reading many posts and can't wait to get there!!! Anyways, can anyone help with girl/friendly hotels in patong beach? Is it necessary to book a cheap hotel in order to get lady friends in?? It seems from some of the talk here that many of the nicer places don't allow it.

Also, the residence at kalim bay was talked about. It looks pretty nice, anyone know anything about there? Girl friendly? Or also the impiana?

casuarina bungalows is also a good choice, i've been there for 7 years, but now i prefer to rent an apartment at grand condotel - also no lady charge.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It is very time-consuming to look through all these places, so your help is very appreciated!!

I have one place in mind though and I saw it mentioned only a bit on the board. It is the Sunset Beach in the north of patong. Anyone have any current recomendations on this one about girl friendliness, how far from action? It has a decent rate and the few items I saw posted about it were somewhat positive.

Also, I apologize to the readers for hastily posting on the previous subject without first searching the posts. Searching has helped me quite a lot!
