Input on Salathai Resort

I've searched everywhere on this forum, and haven't seen any info. I'm booked there at the end of November, after getting a really good recommendation, but I'm surprized to see no sign of it here. He's says no charges for guests, and great place.

I stayed here for around a week on my first visit to thailand, I can't reccomend the place enough, it's a great hotel, good food and service.

Definatly a good choice mate

neat, clean and quiet would be the words for me to describe the salathai. small enough so there is no crowd for breakfast or the pool. btw, the pool is a little small but that's not a problem as i do not do laps while on vacation. the rooms are okay. the one i had on the ground floor had a bath while the others above had only showers. i prefer the rooms upstairs as there's more privacy as entry to the rooms on the ground is via the sliding doors. right across the hotel you get the soi seapearl bars while bangla is about a 10-12 walk away where you'll find most of the action.

hi andy.i looked on the salathai website and it says 2400 baht per night for a superior room i also sent an email direct to the hotel and got the same price 2400 baht.at the end i ended up booking with sawadee.com there price was 2250 baht per night.i think its a little exspensive but it does look like a nice hotel.
