Need advice on a cpl hotels

Guest friendly? Good service? etc, you know the drill
Never checked these out myself so if anyone has some info that'd be good.

Thai Oriental Inn
Price is good and they have aircon, cable, dvd/cd and a lot of other stuff. They say on their website they do not charge for extra guests but that is about all I know.

Sunset Mansion
No joiner charge but a bit more expensive, could still be good...I frankly don't know. Hopeing someone else would

Lamai Hotel
Got reply with no info at all except that the room has aircon.

My usual hotel 'Safari Beach' has raised their price to a point where I have to consider other options.
C&N is full.
Expat is full as well but stuck me on waiting list

Also another question while I am at it... motorbike rental, anyone know what cost I'd should be expecting? Also the fines for the usual, drunk, no helmet, no lisence
Never had the use for renting one before but it could be just as good to get a hotel in outskirts of Patong and rent a bike.

Bike ZRental should be around 200 - 250 bht at this time of year.

Sunset is a bit average..

Room at 600baht a night is unbeatable and from what I've seen mantioned here they aint too shabby either. Don't mind a 5 min walk to Bangla, might do me some good even

I think you are forgetting the 6 stairs in the building

The hotel is fine tough. Actually thought about it to stay there again, but chose the Honeyhouse (cause of the name ) for 800 baht a night.

Need to get fit again after busting my knee playing football back in august, hope I'll be fit again soon
Tried the honey house myself but they were fully booked.
Gonna make vech my starting point, can always relocate if not satisfied.
