c&n spa advice
Will be staying in the c&n next week and wanted to throw a few questions out in the open.
1) How long does it take to walk to Bangla road and Soi Eric. How do you get there?
2) Should we have a massage at the hotel or at Christins? What r there openig hours, is there a best time of day to go there?
3) Should we ask for a specific location in the hotel of our standard room?
4) Is there breakfast any good?
Muchos Thanks Fellas.

are you staying at the C&N or the C&N Spa and Resort?. the C&N is minutes (seconds if you walk real fast) away from Bangla Road on Rat-u-Thit Road. the C&N Spa and Resort is on Na Nai Road south of Bangla and probably takes 15-20 minutes by foot.

Patang is safe enough, A lot of BMs think its safer than there own citys, I kinda disagree, I feel more safe in dublin than i do in patong, Mainly because i know my way around the place like the back of me hand, And know where "NOT" to go at night, In patong i walked down a few dark streets at night and beach rd in particular there does be a few dodgy characters hanging about and kinda look you up, Now in saying that nobody came near me but i still knew they where there, On the other hand in dublin city centre there does be people fighting all the time and i didnt see one fight in patong, Just use your common sence and your natural instincts and you'll be fine, Just do what jonny says and walk around the place during the day and get a feel for the place and at night when your pissed drunk just jump in a tuk-tuk and you'll back at your hotel in no-time, It only costs about 2euro so its better to be extra safe than sorry especially for the sake of 2euro....

The C&N Spa & Resort is quite nice looking from the outside situated on an elavated slope. I walked past it one time at around 19:00 and I was okay but probably take a tuktuk on the safe side at a later time.
Walking towards Bangla Road after you've past the Holiday Inn you'll encounter a large marketplace on the right-side of the road and you might wanna take a look and do some shopping there since it's much less stressful towards tourists.
If you like karaoke you might want to check out Monroe Karaoke right across from a big bright lighted sushi resturant. I haven't been in there but I saw some girls sitting outside the place and they are quite stunning.

my mate was walking alone at night earlyier this year ,in pattaya, when he met with a mishap, big time, no nobody attacked him!--he fell into the sewer that runs along the pavement/road ,the concrete on top was missing on one part and thats the bit he didnt see! had to get 20 or so stitches to his shin the next day !

You and your mate will NOT be thinking about walking back to CN resort after a night in Bangla. After a good drink in any number of bars, and the offers you will get from the girls ,a walk of 20/25mins in the humidity of Patong will be the last thing on your mind.Follow IRISH JONNYS advise and take a tuktuk for 100/150baht (£1 .20/£1 .50)

Hi Charlie,
Have stayed there twice, last time for Songkran in April. As mentioned above the walk is 15-20 minutes but there are always tuk tuks and motorbike taxis around so save your legs. For a massage, i have not personally used the spa however there are plenty of places in town. I`m not sure what sort of massage you are looking for however when you mention Christins I take it something with a few extras is the call. For room location I would suggest round the back for less noise or round the front if you want to be near the bar and look out towards town. Finally, breakfast is ok and the bar/restaurant area is pleasant enough but again plenty more choice in town. As the BGs say,UP TO YOU!! Enjoy yourself,I`ve still got another 37 days to wait

forget all the people on here going on about your and your m8 being to drunk to walk,or you sweating your ass off or drains and falling in them etc,you wont be doing that walk back purely because i have never met a bg that would walk for more than 5 minutes let alone 25.

Got it in one!
What more can you say? The man's right. I've known a lot of Thais over the years but I've only ever met one that would walk more than 5 mins and definately no BG's will, so get a tuktuk, unless you like non stop whinging and being called something equivalent of being a tight a**e, which will all definately knacker the start of the evening/ night passion . Even worse if you have to skulk around dodging hotel staff!
