Guesthouses???

It looks like I will be back in LOS around the middle of next year with 9 or 10 mates who just want to have a bit of a boys week away.

I know this is a little early to be considering accommodation, but we want to book out the whole plac for ourselves. The question is does any BM know of a small 10 or 15 room guest house or similar size hotel close to all the action that we may be able to book out. Having a few more rooms than travellers won't be a problem as in low season, if the price per night is right we'd just book them and leave them empty, or get a few more mates to tag along. Being guest friendly is a must, a pool would be good as well.

Due to the size of the group, we'd hate to inflict ourselves on a hotel with other paying guests and figure booking out the whole place to be a far better option which would give us the run of the place so to speak.

Any ideas would be appreciated...

What is the right price per night? Can't recall I've seen too many guesthouses/hotels of that size with a pool.

9 Rooms but no pool, I will stay there this dec so will leave a thorough review at my hotel review board. Looks from map to be 5min walk to Bangla.

11 rooms, no pool. Say on their website they are guestfriendly. Don't know much else about them other then very reasonable pricing. Looks from map to be 5min walk to Bangla.

7 rooms, not stayed there but heard they are ok. No pool but location right on the beach just meters from Bangla rd.

8 rooms and Lotus Mansion next door also have 8 rooms.
Don't know much about them but a BM is staying there soon so I hope he'll do a report later on.

Hotels and guesthouses can be found through phuket-info.com , phuketdir.com, phuket.com and many other places. Find one to your liking and be a little more specific, I'm sure someone know something or will even be willing to check it out for you.

I STAYED HERE........IT WAS OK........
I PAYED 450 IN LOW SEASON..IF YOU BLOCK BOOKED I RECKON YOU COULD GET IT FOR 400.
