Cape Panwa

Panwa Bay/Ao Yon Bay looks good on i/net but no real mentions
in travel books except for an aquarium there.

Anyone who has been down that way - your thoughts would be
appreciated

Especially if you know of Panwa Beach Resort (refurbished this year
according to website) - whether any restaurants/bottle shops in
walking distance so not stuck with resort prices

Thanks

Bara

Cape Panwa is very small area, but good if you want to avoid the crowd. Many of the rich and famous like to stay there.

There isnt really a beach there either what I have seen. The Aquarium has been closed for a long time due to renovation but I think they were going to open end of 2004 so it may be open now.

Cape Panwa aquarium.

I was down there 3 weeks ago and the aquarium wasn't open then.
Also the area was very quiet.
