Most hotels on Sukhumvit will be fine. Some popular choices are Nana Hotel, Majestic Suites and so on. Check out the Bangkok section of the forum for more suggestions.

Then book your hotel at http://www.phuket-info.com/hotel/bangkok/index.php

I stayed at the Nana hotel and it's great if you want to be in the middle of the nightlife. Good disco in the hotel aswell!

Never any room

The problem with the majestic is it is booked 2 months in advance almost all year. I've tried to stay there my last 2 trips to BKK and have been turned down. Dynasty is good for 3 or 4 days, but it can be dreary due to bad lighting, small windows and no view. But I always stay there anyway because for the price and location, it is tough to beat. TOTALLY guest friendly. Nana parking lot is across the street. Save your bf cash and go there at 2 (1 now with the new closing hours?)

They did raise their rate by 100 baht (1090 now). I am booked in for 3 nights later this month.

Other good thing about Suhkimvit is it's only 400 baht from the airport including tip and tolls. And in the it is only a 10 minute ride early in the morning or late at night.

Good luck,

Robio

Hellow everyone thanks for your replies.....It is much appreciated

The online hotel listing was really helpful. Unfortunately i forgot to mention that our budget is looking to be below 900baht a night......I am considering staying in the Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn.

http://R24.org/phuket-info.com/bangkok/sawasdeeinn/

So i guess my questions are;
-Has anyone stayed there before?...any good reviews for the place?
-Are they "guest" friendly
-Close to nightlife? (since its on Sukhumvit I assume it is).

If all is well with this place then i'll be booking it in the next day or so. Thanks again.

for an extra 90 baht, why not just stay at the Dynasty Inn. I was just there, and it's a pretty nice place, and the location can't be beat. 90 baht is only $2 Canadian.
