Phuket Thailand: Long distace transport

Hi guys

Just wondering I will be travelling to Thailand later this year and stating in Phuket, however I want to go Oasis Sea World for me and theblityle one if possible to swim with the dolphins

Anyone know a roundabout price for transport getting there don't mind taxi, bus coach etc just not motortaxi cos I dnt fancy my baby in a basket on the way

A real long distance transport.

Chantaburi is barely in the same hemisphere, as Phuket.

You'll be paying the driver for more than a swim with dolphins !
It's about 1144 kms from Phuket town to Laem Sing. This is NOT the beach near Kalim!
At least two days journey.

The Dolphin show is OK - no where near the Aussie standards.
Though the swim-with is available by booking ahead.
The one we went to was rudely interupted by one of the females getting on heat resulting in the males abandoning their tricks for a root.

While coming back from the show, stop at the stalls and buy freshly shucked oysters for IIRC 200 baht a kilo - delicious.

Laem Sing is a nice quiet fishing village with similar along a drive west along the coast.

Hire a car (1000 baht/day) or google bus transport Thailand.

didn't realise it would be that unusal that someone plans to participate in several encounters over a trip or two

thanks for the advice I only have a provissional so looks like a bus journey it is, didn't realise it was that far is there a airport close by ?

Fly phuket bangkok.. Or Phuket U-Tapao.. Then bus or taxi..

But I have to ask.. When you have these ideas, do you not look at a map ??

To be honest with you I don't LivinLOS mate I just decide toofo something get a mind set on it and will do it regardless of travelling etc done same bak in may wanted the baby to meet a dolphin for his birthday so went to turkey from UK so he could

I enjoy the travelling aswell think it gives you a good view of the areas and enjoy seeing how the non tourist dependants get by
